It's no secret that Kate Gosselin may be headed towards bankruptcy, and now it seems that Jon Gosselin is also broke. This latest revelation comes after both ex-lovers have been accused of child and animal abuse, following claims that Jon abandoned a cat in the home he was evicted from.
Things keep getting worse for Kate and Jon Gosselin. The duo were once one of the most popular couples on reality TV, but that all changed when their marriage fell apart.
Since then, it doesn't appear that things have improved much. Sure Kate starred in a new special over the summer and has signed on for a follow up TLC special, which will focus on her relationship with the twins.
But that doesn't mean that things are back on track, as evidenced by reports that Kate Gosselin will be holding a yard sale, in an effort to raise some money.
This struck many as odd, considering Kate has garnered a great deal of negative press in the press for selling her children's things instead of donating them to charity.
This time, however, Kate will be donating at least a portion of the sales to a nearby charity. Despite her actions, many have suggested that Kate is close to penniless, as In Touch tells readers:
"They may not be married anymore, but it would appear that both Jon and Kate Gosselin are going through a tough time, financially speaking...Just a few days after it was revealed that the father-of-8 was evicted from his Pennsylvania home, a local radio station announced that the reality TV matriarch has a yard sale coming up this weekend!"
As bad as things may be for Kate, they appear far worse for her ex-husband and longtime feud partner, Jon Gosselin.
Not only did Jon pull a gun on a paparazzi member last year, reportedly firing multiple shots in the air, but the former reality star was recently evicted from his home.
According to Gawker, Jon's former landlord Linda Eways has been conducting a number of interviews, and things don't sell good. The jaded landlord claims that Jon completely abandoned his kitten:
"I showed up to take a look at the house after Jon was supposed to have been entirely moved out, and what I found completely shocked and infuriated me...I was so frustrated by the entire situation that I had to leave and give him one more day to entirely move...We called Jon and asked him about the kitten, and he seemed unconcerned, saying it belonged to his ex-girlfriend Liz [Janetta], who left in September. He just left her there. It broke my heart, but we adopted her."
Yikes!
