Track star Lolo Jones was caught at LAX recently by a TMZ reporter when she gave a surprising answer to a question about South African runner Oscar Pistorius. Jones responded with a confession that her father was sent to prison for murder, so she felt conflicted about Pistorius being sentenced to 5 years for killing his girlfriend. She says there's two sides to every story. One story, however, that Jones hasn't spoken publicly about is the rumors that she was dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
Lolo Jones, a devout Christian and a professed virgin, has been silent regarding rumors that she was linked to Seattle QB Russell Wilson. The pair were seen schmoozing at the ESPY's in July, sparking rumors on Page Six that there might be romance in the air (via Classicalite):
"The two were reportedly inseparable at the ESPYs last week, and though Jones claims she is a virgin, she might have her sights set on a man of God who wins Super Bowls and does charity work."
Lolo was a little bit more vocal, however, when asked about South African runner Oscar Pistorius and his 5-year sentence for manslaughter (via TMZ):
"Jones was at LAX Thursday when we asked if she agreed with the 5-year sentence for Pistorius, and her answer was pretty surprising. She opened up about her father's life sentence for a murder, and why it's made her 'non judgmental' about Oscar -- despite all the facts surrounding Reeva Steenkamp's death."
Jones may not have all the facts, but according to Steenkamp's mother, at least, Pistorius was a violent and abusive partner, and she believes he knew exactly what he was doing when he "accidentally" shot his girlfriend to death.
