Brace yourself, Hunger Games fans. Reports of a Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin breakup appear to be accurate. According to multiple news outlets, the A-list actress is no longer dating the Coldplay front man. These latest claims come after reports that J Law's ex, Nicholas Hoult, may have hooked up with Twilight starlet Kristen Stewart.
The breakup of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin may have caught many fans by surprise, but one person was reportedly not so shocked.
According to popular U.S. gossip site Radar Online, Gwyneth Paltrow wasn't surprised a bit by the split. One source tells the website that the age difference may have factored in:
"Gwyneth wasn't surprised by it. She never thought the relationship was going to last because of their age difference. Jen is 24 and Chris is 37. Plus, Jen complained to Chris that she felt like the third wheel in their relationship because of all the time he spent with his kids."
As usual, the site never offered up any solid proof, instead quoting an unnamed source.
Of course, other entertainment outlets paint a much different picture. E! News, who first broke news of the couple's split, claims that other factors contributed to J Law's breakup. According to the popular U.S.-based website, the split was totally amicable:
"'It wasn't dramatic,' a source tells E! News of the pair's decision to pull the plug on their short-lived romance...'Things just didn't work out,' the insider continued, adding that the split occurred a few weeks ago. 'There are no hard feelings between them'...Presumably the pair's jam-packed schedules also contributed to their break up."
Regardless of the reason behind their split, it's still just more bad news for Jennifer, who has already had a pretty rough year.
Not only did she breakup with longtime boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, but nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence also surfaced online.
No doubt channeling her character from the hit Hunger Games series, Jennifer Lawrence continues to overcome any obstacle thrown her way.
