Sex and the City's famous shoes horse, Sara Jessica Parker's marriage to Matthew Broderick is rumored once again to be on the verge of divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, the HBO icon has virtually separated from her Ferris Bueler cheating husband while she is currently filming All Roads Lead to Rome, in Italy. Word has it that the couple are going to give their relationship one last shot, once she returns, before calling it quits and splitting up their net worth. In related news, SJP's Hocus Pocus costar, Bette Midler, swears that the Sanderson sisters are all ready to reprise their witchy roles for a sequel, if fans can only convince Disney to get on board.
Believe it or not, the tabloids are once again speculating that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are ready to call things quits despite 18-years of marriage.
The couple have been plagued by talk that they were looking to split, and now, according to a source who spoke in Star Magazine's November 24, issue, for all intents and purposes they already have.
According to the informant, however, the reason for the distance has more to do with them trying to rekindle the romance than it does them ending it:
"They are hoping that absence will make the heart grow fonder.
"It hasn't' been easy but there's still a lot of love there."
Speaking of still being in love after two decades, Bette Midler recently confirmed Hocus Pocus fans' suspicions that the Sanderson sisters are ready for another adventure.
During a Reddit AMA, the iconic singer confessed that if the fans could convince Disney, she knew Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy were definitely down (via MovieFone):
"Inundate the Disney Company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it.
"But we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney Company."
Co-star Kathy Najimy seconded Midler's assertion in an email to BuzzFeed that the girls were definitely ready to get the band back together, but also reiterated that it really wasn't their decision to make:
"I have read Bette's quote and I agree. The outpouring of love from Hocus-ites has been astounding.
"We see and appreciate it all...we hear y'all loud and clear!
"A sequel is totally in The Disney company's hands-- And it will be exciting to see what transpires!"
