Not to kick someone when they are already down, but word has it that yet another Here Comes Honey Boo Boo scandal centered on the Toddlers and Tiaras mom has come to light. According to the latest gossip news updates, "Mama June" Shannon not only sent her oldest daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, away to live with her grandmother after she was molested by Mark McDaniel, at the age of eight, she also neglected to pay more than $4,100 in child support during that those years. For his part, Alana's dad, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson is sorry he cheated online and the TV show got cancelled, but all he wants right now is to get his family back.
It would seem that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch, "Mama June" Shannon has more skeletons in her closet than John Wayne Gacy.
According to the recent reports not only did Shannon seemingly ostracize her oldest daughter Anna Cardwell by sending her to live with her own mother, Sandra Hale, after she was sexually assaulted by June's former boyfriend Mark McDaniel, back in 2003, TMZ claims that June didn't even bother paying the court ordered child support half of the time:
"When the guardianship was created, June was required to pay her mom $100 a month in child support.
"But fast forward to 2009, when the Henry County D.A. filed criminal contempt charges against June, claiming she was way behind on her payments--$4,144.62 behind."
That is right at three-and-a-half-years worth of monthly child supports payments that June didn't bother to make for a child that had already been badly traumatized.
In fact, Hale told Entertainment Tonight that had it not been for her taking matters into her own hands, Anna's molestation may have never even bee reported (via Daily Mail):
"My reaction was I wanted to kill him.
"To do that to a child-- especially her...I took her to the police department and filed the charges. I wasn't going to let this go away."
For his part, Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson says he doesn't really have any hard feeling against Mike, who was in prison when Alana was born--he just wants to get his family back.
Thompson told ET Online that he is doing his best to heal the wounds caused by his infidelity and to get things back to the way the used to be--minus the successful reality series:
"To be honest, all I want to work on is getting June and my girls back...That is my main thing right now."
Unfortunately for Mike, June has gone on record as saying that Sugar Bear has hurt her too badly to ever be forgiven.
But Mark McDaniel on the other hand...at least, when he cheats he keeps it all in the family.
