New Fox ‘Bones’ Episode After Sweets Death & John Francis Daley ‘Vacation’ with, ‘Community; Chevy Chase, ‘Hangover; Ed Helms, ‘Thor’ Chris Hemsworth and ‘Always Sunny’ Charlie Day

Tonight Fox’s long running drama Bones is all new. Check the preview below to see what is in store for Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz in the all new episode. Fans of the series are still getting over the tragic death of Sweets. Sweets was killed off partially because of John Francis Daley’s (Freaks and Geeks) new gig as director of the National Lampoons Vacation sequel. The new movie has an all star cast including, Ed Helms (The Office, Hangover), Charlie Day (Horrible Bosses, Pacific Rim, Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia), Chevy Chase (Community, SNL), and Peoples Sexist Man Alive, Chris Hemswoth (Thor, Avengers).

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Bones, titled “The Puzzler in the Pit,” reads:

“A crossword-puzzle master's remains are found in an urban fracking site, but the search for the killer among his rivals reveals the deceased was suffering from a mental illness at the time of his death. Meanwhile, a pregnant Daisy gets a boost from her doula in her time of need.”

Be sure to check out the all new episode, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on Fox.

At the beginning of the current season, John Francis Daley’s beloved character, Sweets was killed off.

John Francis Daley left the series in order to direct the new all star National Lampoons Vacation remake. Daley spoke to TV Line earlier in the year, about having to say goodbye:

“I knew it would be tough, because I was asking for four months off. And I was so happy that they were able to accommodate that. But, yeah, in a perfect world, I would’ve loved to have [completed the movie] and then segue back to the Bones family. I had spoken to Stephen Nathan about it all, and he said it would be more satisfying for the fans to conclude Sweets in a dramatic way rather than for it to be up in the air and have him come back midway through the season.”
