It would seem that the rest of the internet is picking up on the latest Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon divorce rumor. According to the most recent gossip news updates, the America's Got Talent host's not-so-secret girlfriend, Amber Rose, is pregnant with his baby. Word has it that the Instagram lingerie model was livid to find out that Whif Kalifa's wife was sporting the Wild n' Out rapper's baby bump and wants to use the info to get a bigger junk of Nick's net worth when they officially split. Nick and Amber have denied having anything more than a business relationship, though soon they may be explaining that to the judge.
After Media Take Out first reported that Nick Cannon has actually gotten his new girlfriend, Amber Rose, pregnant the rest of the internet tabloids fell in line, and now there are even reports that Mariah's legal team is taking notice.
According to the talented journalists at Celeb Dirty Laundry, Mariah has seen the pictures of a reportedly pregnant Rose, and now, she is looking to get paid:
"Amber Rose's baby bump isn't helping Nick any either, and Mariah's lawyers are already all over him and using his new bun in the oven against him in custody proceedings over the twins."
Nick Cannon has yet to address these specific rumors--though he and Amber have both been clear that they are not dating and have not slept together--but addressing each and every ugly rumor isn't the way Cannon does business.
Nick explained to E! News shortly after the news of his split with Mariah was announced that he really could not care less what nonsense people wrote about him, but he did hope that it helped them sell their magazines:
"I don't pay attention to it, because the beauty about gossip is there's always another story tomorrow.
"So whatever they say on blogs or tabloids or gossip shows, it's like, 'Hey, you can say that. Hopefully it's entertaining. Hopefully it's working out for you.'
"But I'm focusing on the right things and that's my family and my children."
Word has it that right now Mariah Carey is focused on finding herself a gig with Sin City stability but a Big Apple commute.
A source claiming to be in the know insists in Star Magazine's December 1, issue that Mariah has thought about it but is trying to find something more convenient than the Las Vegas residencies that acts like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez are doing:
"Mariah doesn't want to go to Vegas.
"She put out feelers to the Borgata in Atlantic City and the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut about a mini residency.
"She wants a stable, high paying gig that will keep her close to her New York home."
Maybe, Mariah will get a place near wherever it is that Amber Rose lives so Nick won't have such a long drive from house to house when he's picking up the twins on the weekends.
