‘Big Bang Theory’ Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting Divorce News: Season 8 Ratings Overshadow Obama Speech? [BREAKUP UPDATE]

Once again Big Bang Theory's hottest millionaire laid to rest rumors that she and her husband Ryan Sweeting were ready to get a divorce after less than a year of marriage. According to the latest gossip news updates, the tennis pro threw a surprise birthday bash for his little Priceline Penny that really blew the topless Instagram feet model's socks off. It's also being reported that Season 8's rating are so high that they rivaled President Obama's unofficial TV numbers for his speech last week on immigration.

Some tabloids seem fixated on the rumor that Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting are breaking up, but the Hollywood lovebirds didn't seem to let that get to them while having the time of their lives at Kaley's surprise birthday party last night.

Once again the couple chronicled the event on Instagram for posterity as well as the teaming hordes of fans and well-wishers on socail media:

"Just when I thought no one could EVER surprise me, Mr. Sweeting goes and does it--best birthday of my life--thank you to everyone involved. You know who you are."

At this point in the careers, it would seem that the happy cast of Big Bang Theory popularity is much more buoyant than President Barrack Obama's, who isn't even in his eighth year on the job like the CBS stars.

At least that seemed to be the case during the President's speech on immigration reform last Thursday night reports USA Today.

According to their website, the geek squad scored just as high in the ratings as did the most powerful man in the free world:

"Adding together numbers released by the major networks puts Obama on par with The Big Bang Theory's 14.6 million viewers."

The White House deputy press secretary, Shawn Turner, explained that the administration wasn't worried about something as antiquated as television when they have a tool as far reaching as the internet at their disposal:

"We recognize that the way people here in the United States and around the world access and consume information has changed dramatically over the past decade.

"That's why, in addition to traditional media formats, we use a wide range of new and emerging communication vehicles including social media, websites and podcasts to reach audiences."

Now if the White House could only get those same folks that are watching Presidential speeches over the internet to go out and actually vote...they might really have something.
