The Real Housewives of Orange County are usually desperate to remain relevant after the end of the season TV show reunion recap, but Tamra Barney Judge might have taken things a little too far this time. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Season 9 feuder has been fired following some statements she made about Bravo manipulating footage for ratings. Perhaps that is why she is making nice with Gretchen Rossi -- wishing the former cast member "nothing but the best" during a recent interview. It has even been suggested the Vicki Gunvalson recently lied about Tamra not lending her support after it was announced that Vic's boyfriend Books Ayers' cancer had returned. Word has it that Barney reached out shortly after the diagnosis, and that Vicki is just lying to have some hot new drama going into Season 10.
It would seem that Real Housewives of Orange County queen bee Tamra Baney Judge may not be asked back to the Bravo reality series thanks to some accusations she hurled at her network producers.
There are several reports circulating that Bravo is none too pleased with Tamra's claims that she was told when to do or say certain things and that her co-stars would be prompted by the show's producers to respond to some "drama" in particular while the cameras were rolling, because they are striking back.
A behind-the-scenes source told Radar Online that the powers that be at Bravo quickly made the call to cut Tamra from their Season 10 cast lineup:
"The network has had it with Tamra's over the top ego and diva behavior.
"She sealed her fate by publicly stating that Bravo edited scenes to make her look bad.
'This is a very big no-no, and Tamra's contract won't be picked up for another season.
"The fact that she...really doesn't have anything that interesting going on in her life made it a very easy decision."
Tamra has refused to comment on her future status on Housewives, but perhaps her kindhearted well wishes to former enemy on the series, Gretchen Rossi, is indication enough that Barney is already putting the show behind her (via TooFab):
"I wish her the best in the world. I wish her happiness.
"We worked together -- and part of working together was judging each other. I had a lot to say and she had a lot to say."
"But now that we are not doing anything, I only wish her happiness and love and positive things in her life."
Seeing this new side of Barney it is kind of hard to believe that Tamra wouldn't even bother to send so much as a text or a phone call the way Vicki Gunvalson recently alleged in her interview with Us Weekly, perhaps, because it is not true.
An insider source told Radar Online that Vicki made up the story about Tamra not reaching out after Brooks was diagnosed to hurt Barney's reputation while at the same time giving her something to talk about going in to Season 10:
"[That] is absolutely not true! Tamra has texted Vicki numerous times.
"Vicki is doing this for two reasons.
"One is that she still has animosity from last season...[and two] is desperately seeking a storyline for this upcoming season."
