Just like at this time last year, the rumors are starting to surface that original series cast member Lisa Vanderpump is quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after the reunion finale recap. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Vanderpump Rules matriarch got enough drama in Season 5 to last her a lifetime. Spoilers: Brandi Glanville has forgiven Bravo nemesis Adrienne Maloof, or at least, she has apologized to her former realty TV show co-star during a reconciliatory dinner in L.A.
Lisa Vanderpump made no secret about what a difficult decision it was to return to Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after all the verbal back and forth of Season 4, so it makes perfect sense that getting slapped by Brandi Glanville has pushed her over the edge.
A source claiming to have all the behind-the-scenes deets told the Hollywood Life that Vanderpump doesn't have any hard feelings about the experience as a whole, but she is done with being a Real Housewife for Bravo:
"Lisa's had a good run on the show and she's glad she did it.
"She's got not one regret. It's allowed her to be connected to some pretty interesting women, bring awareness to charities she likes and has even allowed her to face her fear of dancing on Dancing With the Stars."
According to the informant that doesn't mean that Lisa isn't ready to sever her relationship with the reality network by any means.
As long as Bravo is willing to bankroll her spin-offs, Lisa is down like a clown to come in and play boss:
"She wouldn't dare leave Vanderpump Rules...that's her baby.
"She was really excited when she got that spinoff.
"She's the boss on that show and quite frankly, she's getting along with the staff and can tolerate their drama far better than she can on Housewives."
In Brandi Glanville's defense, she may be the one you see assaulting Vanderpump in the Season 5 trailer every time it comes on television, but next week we also get to see her apologize to a still miffed Adrienne Maloof.
In the clip available on BravoTV, we see an extremely nervous Glanville sitting down to a tense dinner in order to make things right with her former reality co-star:
"I just want to clear the air with you. And we don't have to move forward and be best friend or anything like that.
"There have been a lot of low blows and back and forth between us...and I just want to move forward and nor feel uncomfortable when we run into one another.
"I just really want to say, 'I'm Sorry'."
Who knows...maybe the Bravo producers can convince Maloof to come back full-time once Lisa finally quits.
