The Royal Ballet’s 'Romeo & Juliet' releases on DVD

The Royal Ballet's signature work 'Romeo & Juliet' is releasing on DVD.

Since the ballet's premiere in 1965 with Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn in title roles, the ballet received world-wide popularity.

Kenneth MacMillan's first full-evening ballet features the famous balcony scene, the meeting in the ballroom, including the morning after the wedding and the ending tragic scene.

The Royal Ballet's 'Romeo & Juliet' was recorded live in 2012 at the Royal Opera House with dancers Lauren Cuthbertson and Federico Bonelli in the title roles.
