With Season 7 newcomer Claudia Jordan busting on to The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast's scene this year, some folks are starting to question what qualifies The Rickey Smiley Show DJ to even be on the Bravo TV show in the first place. According to the latest gossip news updates, NeNe Leakes newest feud starter hasn't ever technically even been married. Claudia claimed in her 2014 season premier that she was once married, thoughit hadn't worked out, but now her mysterious ex-husband has come forward to reveal the their 2009 marriage was annulled, on account of them being so drunk at the time of their wedding. Speaking of failed marriages and mysterious hubbys, Phaedra Parks is said to be moving forward with her divorce from Apollo Nida, despite all his reported pleas from prison that she not leave him at his greatest time of need.
Bravo's latest Real Housewives of Atlanta rookie, Claudia Jordan, claims that she almost couldn't believe it when series queen bee, NeNe Leakes, started giving her static right out of the realty TV gate (va Inquisitr:
""I thought NeNe would be a little more open with just being cool to the fun girl, the new girl.
"She's the queen bee.
"I was kind of shocked when she was coming for me.
"I didn't come on the show to try to go at NeNe or try to get fame or anything."
Being that the show is called Real House-Wives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes is probably wondering why she is even having to deal with this single she-devil in the first place.
During her series debut, Claudia claimed that she had been married once in the past, but that relationship just didn't work out (via Star Magazine):
"I like to consider myself a lovable as--ole.
"I love the idea of love, but when things get serious, I tend to mess things up.
"I've been married, and it was horrific! So I divorced."
According to the Star's latest digging, however, the three months that Claudia was with ex-husband, Datari Turner, who is a successful music and movie producer in Los Angeles, can hardly be considered a marriage -- being that the vast majority of that time they were together Datari wasn't aware that there had ever even been a wedding.
The publication reports that Datari alleged in court documents that he and Claudia were so intoxicated at the time of their wedding in Las Vegas back in 2009, that he was completely unaware the event had taken place until that model brought it up more than two months later.
The marriage was completely annulled by a Superior Court judged that ruled that the pair lacked lack the mental faculties at the time to understand the implications of their actions.
After all that's been said and done, Phaedra Parks sounds like she would jump at the chance to have her marriage to Apollo Nida completely wiped off the books, just like Jordan's.
A source with all the inside deets insists in Life & Style's newest December 8, issue, that it would take an act of god to deter Parks from going through with her plan to divorce her felon of a husband just as soon as humanly possible:
"There is no way she would ever call off the divorce...Apollo tore her apart.
"Apollo is absolutely delusional for thinking that Phaedra would ever take him back.
"[He] hid so much from her -- she'll never put herself in that position again."
Clearly it's not very important that these ladies actually be real, married or from Atlanta to be on the show.
