“November 24, 2014 - A Detroit native is sure to have a happy Thanksgiving after winning a $1 million Mega Millions prize from the Michigan Lottery.
“Kennedy Howard won the big Mega Millions prize on Oct. 24 by matching the first five winning numbers drawn: 02-14-21-28-55. He picked his own numbers for the winner purchased at the 7-Eleven, located at 35872 Utica Road in Macomb County’s Clinton Township. Howard recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his prize.”
The Mega Millions website is also reporting on another big money winner, writing:
“November 5, 2014 - A 10-year Missouri Lottery tradition has paid off for one group of co-workers. A group of 12 federal employees from the Department of Defense have claimed the $1 million second-level prize from the Oct. 28 Mega Millions drawing. Every week for the past 10 years, the group of 12 participated in a pool to purchase Mega Millions and Powerball tickets using Quick Pick from the same Kum & Go, 130 Old Route 66, in St. Robert. The winning numbers drawn in the Oct. 28 drawing were: 3, 50, 57, 58 and 60.”
