According to the latest Dancing with the Stars gossip news updates recap, the unofficial romance between Val Chmerkovskiy and his Season 19 partner, Janel Parish, is starting to rapidly cool following their finale elimination. Word has it that Maksim's little brother is already distancing himself from the Pretty Little Liar that he seemed so found of just a week or so ago. Apparently, Janel's friends suspect that Val will split for good in the days ahead.
Nothing good ever lasts, but you don't have to tell that to Season 19 Dancing with the Stars contestant, Janel Parrish -- she's going to learn it all by herself soon enough.
Despite being seen on and off the TV show reportedly sharing kisses and holding hands, a source supposedly close to Janel informed Hollywood Life that was just about all over now that they had finished shooting for the season:
"She has been telling friends that some things have already changed with Val now that the show is over.
"He isn't showing the same attention that he showed her while they went through the show, he isn't acting as hands on with her and flirty and romantic."
The problem is, says the friend, that Parrish has become too emotionally involved to just walk away so easily:
"She is still head over heels with him and they are still a thing but the whispers that people talked to her about Val are showing themselves here and there.
"She has fallen for him hard and he has enjoyed the ride and really likes her, but he just doesn't feel the same way about her that she does about him."
What a contrast to Tommy Chong experience on the Stars this year.
In his recent contribution to Celeb Stoner, the comedy icon explained that while he very much enjoyed his time with his dancing partner, Peta Murgatroyd, he was plenty happy to be eliminated when he was:
"Peta's smile was so disarming that I had to look away or risk being totally under her women's spell, which I was anyway.
"Peta was the reason we lasted as long as we did.
"I talked a bit with judge Len Goodman after I was eliminated and he said, 'I could see in your eyes that you were glad it was over.' Len was spot on; I was so ready to quit."
Well...if Val does leave Parrish with a broken heart, no doubt, former cast mate Tommy Chong can find Janel something to lift her spirits.
