It looks like Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott may make it work after all, even with a highly-publicized extramarital affair. Despite having a husband that admittedly cheated on her with a younger woman, Tori Spelling has canceled plans to divorce her baby daddy.
No matter what the world throws at Tori Spelling (having a billionaire father turn on her, marrying a man who proved to be unfaithful, etc.), the True Tori star somehow finds a way to keep going.
In the case of Dean McDermott, her longtime husband and the father to her children, it requires work. But, Tori is committed to making their marriage work, even if Dean has already broken their vows.
People, one of the most trusted names in celebrity news, recently caught up with Tori. When the publication asked Tori how she was overcoming the whole extra-marital affair, Spelling admitted that she and Dean are in therapy:
"It's been a big eye-opener that we definitely needed to look within and work on ourselves and our relationship, obviously...We are doing a lot of hard work. It's important to us and each other as a couple and family. We're doing therapy, and we're doing a lot of work together and moving forward."
Although Tori has been dealing with a lot these days, the reality star realizes that things could be much worse.
That's why Spelling will be spending the holidays at home with husband Dean and her family. According to an interview Spelling granted E! News, Tori will be enjoying a traditional Christmas experience:
"We have a lot to be grateful for...We're staying at home, definitely we're gonna spend it with our best friends Bill [Horn] and Scout [Masterson]...we have a new baby in the family this year and just doing a lot of cooking and baking and decorating and crafting."
