Actor Dimitri Diatchenko, whose Russian accent has landed him roles in Sons of Anarchy, Bones, Burn Notice, Last of Us and Uncharted, now has a new claim to fame. Dimitri has been arrested and charged with killing, cooking and eating his ex-girlfriend’s pet rabbit.
Dimitri Diatchenko has a super impressive resume, with some pretty big named films, TV shows, and video games, including roles in: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the crystal skull, Burn Notice, CSI: Miami, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Sons of Anarchy, 2 Broke Girls, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, Uncharted 3, and The Last of Us.
However, despite his previous works, Diatchenko’s will forever be known as the guy who allegedly cooked and ate his ex-girlfriends rabbit.
Diatchenko was reportedly still living with his ex-girlfriend despite the fact that they had broken up a few months ago.
According to E! News, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office released a statement about the incident:
"Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did. When she returned the defendant allegedly told her he would do the same to her… Diatchenko killed the rabbit and made the threat on Dec. 7, after the victim said they should no longer be roommates."
Diatchenko was charged with felony cruelty to an animal with use of a knife and making criminal threats.
