2015 ‘Bachelor’ Spoilers: Chris Soules Talks Quality Contestants after Jay Leno Slams Trista Sutter on ‘Late Late Show’ [VIDEO UPDATE]

Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo might be known as ABC's worst Bachelor, but a different franchise lead takes the cake for Jay Leno's worst Tonight Show interview ever. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former talk show host reveled on the last Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson that the original Bachelorette was boring him to tears during their interview a decade ago. For his part, current 2015 Bachelor Chris Soules has gone on record as declaring the "quality" of the Season 19 crop of contestants as "pretty amazing."

While some folks might successfully argue that original Bachelorette Trista Sutter has enough personality to successfully launch one of the most successful series on network television today, Jay Leno recently told Craig Ferguson that he found the woman to be one of the most uninteresting interviews of his entire 20-year career as host of the Tonight Show.

When the Scottish comedian asked Leno about the constant pressure to entertain his many celebrity guests during his tenure, the former Tonight Show host insisted that was more worried about them entertaining him.

On Craig's last Late Late Show, Leno recalled a "classic example" being his dazed and confused interview with Season 1 Bachelorette, Trista Sutter (via Fox News):

"I had one of these reality stars on...Trista, from one of those Bachelorette, Bachelor or whatever.

"So I'm sitting there, and she's like, here, and I'm talking to her like this, and I'm looking at the side of her head because I tend to look [there].

"So we're talking about -- I couldn't be less interested. I'd never seen the stupid reality show, didn't know what it was."

Trista didn't seem too put off by the insults when she got word of Leno's nonplused rant, however; Sutter took to Twitter to let Jay know that as far as she's concerned he can continue to tell that story on network television all he likes:

In a related story, current Bachelor Chris Soules recently vouched that the quality of the 2015 contestant by and large as top notch.

During an interview with People, the Iowa farm boy assured franchise devotees that he had found love during his time on the show -- unlike his predecessor Juan Pablo:

"I was going in completely open-minded and there were so many great girls ... the quality of women was pretty amazing.

"My goal in being the Bachelor was to find someone I first could just fall in love with and...I did it.

"I'm happy to say I'm in love. That's pretty crazy!"

At least, Jay Leno won't ever have to worry about interviewing another Bachelorette ever again...and vice versa.
