The court may have kept Matt Prokop from contacting Sarah Hyland directly in any way, but word has it that the Modern Family starlet is still being terrorized by her ex-boyfriend. According to the latest gossip news updates, Prokop's creepy Instagram posts, though not mentioning Hyland per se, are giving the 24-year-old actress the hebbie jeebies. Although Matt may not be allowed to interact with Sarah one-on-one, his social media presence reportedly makes her feel like he could be anywhere.
Just a few short months ago Sarah Hyland was in court begging the judge to do something to keep her safe from Matt Prokop's physical abuse.
Hyland recalled that on at least one occasion her ex-boyfriend's angry outburst became so violent that she was afraid that he was going to kill her (via OK! Magazine):
"His grip was so tight, I couldn't breathe or speak.
"I was in fear for my life."
Despite the fact that Matt is now forbidden by law from contacting Sarah, an inside source insists in latest January 25, issue of OK! that the Modern Family actress is still terrified most nights thanks to Prokop's creepy Instagram posts:

While it could very well be that Sarah Hyland still spends her days and nights fearful of Matt's reappearance, the stunning 24-year-old certainly didn't seem to let that sordid part of her past get to her during her playful Golden Globes red carpet chat with In Style about her dress:
"I love this outfit -- it's different for me. It's not the most comfortable because I feel like I have to suck everything in...But, Spanx are a blessing, that's all I have to say.
"The leather and the sequins are a great juxtaposition to each other. It feels a bit punk rock with glamour mixed in."
Besides, with Joe Manganiello hanging around the Modern Family set these days it seems highly unlikely that Matt Prokop is going to be posing to much of a physical threat to Sarah anytime soon.
