Walk away Bruce Willis! Step aside Jared Leto! . Back away Bacon Brothers. Johnny Depp has an ax to grind against movie stars who use Hollywood to launch a music career. Recently, the guitar playing Mordecai star, opened up about how movie stars who exploit their fame to make music “sickens” him. It seems these days that you have to be a double or triple threat in the make in the business. Young actors these days are also marketed as singers and dancers. However, Johnny Depp doesn’t seem to found of the practice. While in Germany, promoting his new movie Mortdecai, Depp opened up about actors exploiting their fame to make music (Sydney Morning Herald):

"That whole idea for me is a sickening thing, it's always just made me sick. I've been very lucky to play on friends' records and it's still going. Music is still part of my life. But you won't be hearing The Johnny Depp Band. That won't ever exist."

Depp went on to talk further about the process:

"The kind of luxury now is, anybody with a certain amount of of success, if you have a kind of musical being, you can go out and start a band and capitalise on your work in other areas. But I hate the idea, 'come see me play the guitar because you've seen me in 12 movies. It shouldn't be (that way). You want the people who are listening to the music to only be interested in the music."
