After more than 20-years of being America's most eligible bachelor, George Clooney married London lawyer Amal Alamuddin in a whirlwind romance, but now that things have slowed down the newlyweds are said to be fighting night and day. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Hollywood hot couple are headed for divorce if things don't drastically change. Word has it that if Batman can't figure out a way to smooth things over with his wife, the ER actor may have to split his entire $200 million net worth down the middle thanks to his not having insisted on a prenup.
George Clooney has been married to Amal Alamuddin for a little over four months but already there are said to be serious problems between the Hollywood icon and his British wife.
One source, who seems to know all the Clooneys' behind-the-scenes secrets, claims in the latest February 2, issue of In Touch magazine that Amal is driving George crazy with her haughty attitude and constant criticism, but what really has their relationship on the rocks, insists the spy, is the way his new wife treats his old friends:
"Amal is rude to George's friends and acts above them.
"She thinks they are a bunch of silly, middle-aged frat boys.
"If thinks keep going this way, they will definitely get divorced...and it's going to be expensive for George."
Surprisingly enough a supposed friend of Amal's recently told OK! Magazine, that she was just as dissatisfied with Clooney as other as alleging his is with her:
"Amal feels like this is not what she signed up for.
"She and George had a very short courtship, and Amal thought he was this glamorous, international gentleman.
"But...[he] takes Hollywood too seriously and is a more typical American guy than they James Bond type she thought she had married."
According to a report in the UK's Mirror, Amal isn't even happy with the way the Hollywood heartthrob looks -- forcing him to get on a strict diet shortly after they left Venice:
"Amal told me there are five rules for George's new eating regime and healthy lifestyle that should get him back in shape as quickly as - possible."
Not wanting to hang out with Clooney's drinking buddies all night is one thing...but when you start talking smack about Clooney's physique, you've gone too far.
