Be it regular or sugar-free, Classicalite loves Red Bull.
And be it in print, online or over-the-air, Classicalite loves pretty much everything about the Red Bull Music Academy--especially the fine plethora of even finer lectures and shows they've been putting on all month here in New York City. 15 years is basically eternity in the music business, and the Red Bull Music Academy has indeed been a vital instrument in charting out our musical landscape since 1998.
No one's perfect, though. No, not even the venerable RBMA.
So, while Classicalite heartily recommends every last remaining item on the bucket list that is Red Bull Music Academy New York 2013, we also wanted to share footage from a few acts that this year's Academy sorely missed.
For the sake of a good headline, we're calling 'em Red Bull Music Academy rejects.
Of course, that's hardly how we feel.
And in the case of Aanandi Aquino spinning the basement of Gavin DeGraw's East Houston dive, especially, Classicalite could not be more accepting.
