LeBron James Has His Groove Back After Impressive Career Stats and Successful Stint With Miami Heat

LeBron James is, arguably, the best athlete to ever play in the NBA. He carries a certain aura of success when he steps on the court. Based on recent reports, James is claiming that he got his groove back. Furthermore, this gives other teams a reason to worry. After all, James has some of the most impressive achievements in the history of basketball.

Before his career as a professional, James played high school ball for St. Vincent-St Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. His impressive performances earned him the attention of media across the nation.

In turn, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him right out of high school with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Following that, James led Cleveland to their first playoff appearance in 2007.

James really started to earn notoriety during his stint with the Miami Heat.

James won his first championship in 2012, when Miami defeated Oklahoma City. In 2013, he led the Heat on a 27-game winning streak, the second longest in league history.

Miami also won its second consecutive title that year.

All in all, his competitors are afraid of James, and there fear recently intensified. According to Bleacher Report, LeBron stated that his 'first step' is back:

"If the past six Cleveland Cavaliers games-all Cavs wins-haven't served as sufficient warning, five words should sound a piercing alarm for the rest of the NBA. They're words that merely confirm what the pictures have portrayed, but they're words that take on further resonance when LeBron James utters them...'My first step is back,' James [said] following a 108-98 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday."

Truly, these teams have reason to worry. If James tops any of the records he previously set, provided by Pages, the Cavaliers have a chance at a championship season:

"[He is] one of eight players in NBA history to score 2,000 points seven consecutive seasons...One of four players in NBA history to average at least 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in their rookie season...One of five players in NBA history to average over 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in a season (achieved this four times) accompanied by Michael Jordan..."
