The WWE is the most popular wrestling promotion in the world. Within the organization lies a heart-stopping division full of beautiful divas. 2015 is a clean slate for some, and many questions exist concerning the future of many key female performers. Also, after looking into the reasons behind its increased popularity, one tends to wonder how the divas division, including AJ Lee, Kelly Kelly and Charlotte, will advance within the company this year.
In 1993, the WWF reinstated the Women's Championship after it had been vacant for three years. With its return came the tyrannical Debra Miceli. She performed under the name Alundra Blayze, and led the female division to a new generation of respect and adoration.
Now, the Diva's Division is a creature of its own, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
It consists of some of the hottest female athletes on earth including AJ Lee, Paige, Charlotte, Naomi, Kelly Kelly and, of course, Trish Stratus.
The popularity of the division is steadily increasing, and according to Bleacher Report, fans have plenty of questions about what 2015 will hold:
"For the WWE Divas division, 2015 is replete with questions. Can Charlotte be as successful on the main roster as she has been at NXT? Will Total Divas overshadow the in-ring product? Will Naomi be able to mark 'become Divas champ' off her to-do list? The road ahead for WWE's female wrestlers is filled with the same obstacles that it always is...[Also] a number of young Divas are poised for career advancement."
There is no telling what exciting twists will unfold once we get further into the year.
One thing is for sure, though, and that is an even higher ranking for the Divas overall. Reported on by Xximag, the division should rely on what has gotten them this far to further increase their reputation:
"The popularity of the Divas division brings entertainment, drama, and of course, the glamour and sexiness of the female wrestlers. The combination of beauty, talent and natural desire to succeed in a male dominated business is something that only a strong woman in the position of any WWE Diva is impressive in and out of the ring. Not only are the Divas some of the most gorgeous women in the world, but they are also some of the toughest ladies in the planet..."
