Although Sean Penn has all but confirmed it in recent interviews and his movie star girlfriend, Charlize Theorn, has been sporting a huge diamond one her wedding ring finger, the Hollywood hot couple have not officially announced their engagement just yet, but they are hardly denying it either. According to the latest gossip news updates, Sean is also looking to adopt his new fiancé's 3-year-old son, Jackson. There are even reports that the Mystic River Oscar winner and the Mad Max actress are planning to adopt a baby together once they get married later this year.
In addition to Sean Penn's blushing like a school boy every time he's candidly asked about his evolving relationship status to his super-sexy South African girlfriend, Charlize Theron, the buxom blonde bombshell has been walking around with a rock on her wedding ring finger that's so big it's probably thrown her back out of alignment.
After catching a few shots of Charlie wearing the ring the National Enquirer had an expert jeweler appraise the piece at upwards of $100,000:
"The center stone looks like a four-carat round stone, surrounded by smaller diamonds."
While no one seems to have any idea when they are actually planning to have their wedding, one source told People magazine that they apparently had enough time for Sean to adopt Charlize's son before the big day:
"Charlize says this is it. Jackson already calls Sean 'Daddy.' "
Not only is Sean said to have already filed the adoption papers, Us Weekly spoke to one informant who claimed that Penn and Theron were also looking to adopt another child together (via Hollywood Life):
"There is still talk of adopting again and giving Jackson a brother or a sister."
Sean and Charlize haven't mentioned anything about adopting publicly, but it would make a lot of sense given Theron's history and attitude towards adoption (via GossipCop):
"Adopting was not a last resort for me -- it was almost like a first resort.
"And it's the only thing in my life that's surpassed how great I thought it would be."
If Sean Penn does wind up adopting a newborn with Charlize, there certainly will be quite an age difference between his youngest child and his 23-your-old daughter, Dylan, who recently posed nude for Details! Magazine.
