The Grayson’s are coming to Gotham. Jim Gordon himself, Ben McKenzie recently opened up about Robin’s parents appearing on the hit Fox show. TNT is also currently working on an all new Teen Titans TV series featuring Nightwing. Now that Steven R. McQueen has quit The Vampire Diaries, rumors are flying that he will finally get a chance to play his dream role of Dick Grayson. Could McQueen really be the next Boy Wonder?
Gotham star Ben McKenzie, who plays Jim Gordon, recently spoke to Collider about Robin/Nightwing’s family the Grayson’s appearing on the show:
“We actually did an entire episode set in a circus with the Graysons, and we were there, watching a full circus. That’s just amazing. It’s really incredible. And each week is a new surprise.”
Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Dick Grayson’s parents showing up in Gotham:
“We’re going to do a prenatal origin story for Robin down the line. There are no MRIs involved. There’s an episode coming up where we learn how Robin’s parents got together.”
TNT is currently working a Teen Titans TV show, featuring Dick Grayson/Nightwing as one of the leads.
