While 19-year-old model Gigi Hadid has made it clear that she is in no rush to get married, Yolanda Foster's daughter has also made it clear that she wouldn't necessarily turn down Australian boyfriend, Cody Simpson, if he did want to get engaged. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star explained that right now she was just letting whatever happens happen. According to that latest gossip news updates, part of what she is just letting happen involves her sister, Bella, reportedly drinking her face off all by herself in New York City. Word has it that Bella's recent DUI has done nothing to curb her underage bar hopping, but Gigi has reportedly been too busy building her career and being with her boyfriend to notice her little sister spiraling out of control.
It's true that Gigi Hadid hasn't really been with her 20-year-old boyfriend, Cody Smith, for that long, given the on-again, off-again nature of their relationship, but during a recent interview with US Weekly that teenage model didn't seem at all afraid to say yes if the Australian pop star were to pop the question:
"I guess I'll know when the time is right but I don't have a plan.
"I don't need to get married young and I also don't need to wait, it's just whatever happens."
"Unfortunately for her worried mother, Yolanda Foster, Gigi reportedly takes the same laissez-faire to looking after her little sister, Bella, in the Big Apple.
An eyewitness to the public debauchery in New York claims in the February 2 issue of OK! Magazine that Bella's drinking has gotten to the point where she's endangering herself, but Gigi is just too preoccupied to really even care:
"Bella routinely gets wasted at a bar and leaves by herself, stumbling into the street.
"[But] Gigi claims that she has a modeling career to take care of now and can't afford to babysit her sister.
"Yolanda would be worried sick if she knew what was going on with her daughter on a day-to-day basis."
No one would blame Gigi for wanting to live her own life now that she has moved across the country to pursue her dream of being a model, but beginning a new job certainly doesn't relieve Hadid of her big sister duties either.
