Engaged Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Breakup: New Baby Depression Leads to Split? [RUMORS]

Despite a number of reports claiming that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are secretly engaged, a new tabloid article suggests that the couple could be headed towards a breakup. According to the laughable report, Eva is battling depression after welcoming the couple's new baby into the world.

No matter what they do (or don't do), Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are always going to be a target of tabloids everywhere.

That was certainly the case this week, when gossip rag In Touch Weekly decided to, once again, focus on the A-list Hollywood couple.

According to one source who spoke with the publication, Eva and Ryan may soon part ways. The insider went on to reveal that Eva has been battling depression ever since she delivered baby Esmeralda:

"It seems like she's suffering from the baby blues...She's been having severe mood swings, making it unbearable for anyone to be around her. One minute she's sending Ryan videos of their daughter, and then the next she won't accept his calls...Ryan wants to make things better and even suggested they go see someone for help...But Eva won't go. She doesn't think there's a problem."

Although the report failed to offer any concrete evidence to support their claims, the popular gossip rag may be on to something.

After all, Eva recently complained about the toll of motherhood when a teleprompter went down at a recent charity gala. Entertainment Tonight tells readers that Eva believes her daughter is to blame for the minor flub:

"'I'm sorry, go back -- you guys got it, right?' Eva said after the little hiccup. 'I just had a baby. I haven't slept. I'm sorry!'...She's of course referring to her daughter with Ryan Gosling, Esmeralda Amada, whom she gave birth to in September."

What do you think about the latest report? Is Eva really battling depression, or is this just more tabloid nonsense?
