Not only is Gina Rodriguez the new break out star of CW's Jane the Virgin, the 30-year-old Golden Globe winner is said to soon be marrying boyfriend, Henri Esteve. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Revenge actor already has the engagement ring ready roll and is just waiting for the right time to ask pop the big question. Gina who plays an pregnant 23-yor-old virgin in the new hit TV show claims that she draws inspiration for her character not from Henri but an ex-boyfriend who had taken a vow of chastity -- or so she keeps telling Esteve.
Gina Rodriguez is single handedly changing minds about what a pregnant virgin looks like -- winning a Golden Globe for her breakout performance on CW's hit new TV show, Jane the Virgin.
A source close to Gina revealed in the latest February 16, issue of OK! Magazine that Rodriguez' personal life was also on an up-swing.
According to the informant, Gina's boyfriend, Henri Esteve, who plays Javier on Revenge, has already bought the perfect rock and is now just lying in wait for the perfect moment to propose to the love of his life:
"Henri knows Gina like the back of his hand, and picked out a ring that she is going to be obsessed with!"
During a recent interview with Latina magazine, Gina didn't mention any secret wedding plans, but she didn't mind talking about an ex-boyfriend she had that was a born again virgin of sorts.
Rodriguez explained that dating someone that was diametrically opposed to sex was the best preparation she could have ever asked for going into the role of Jane (via Huffington Post):
"He was a Christian model and he was saving himself for marriage.
"And, man, talk about character study! I didn't even know Jane would be coming into my life, but everything happens for a reason.
"I honestly think that God put him in my path so that I had this understanding."
Well...at the very least it sounds like great news for Henri Esteve no matter how you slice it.
