Master of Gore Rhino Returns to NXT/WWE, After Multiple Championships from TNA, ECW, ROH

The WWE is a tyrant among fellow wrestling promotions. Over the years, the organization housed sports most amusing and highly decorated athletes. In recent news, TNA/WWF/WWE star Rhino made a surprising return to the WWE's developmental subsidiary NXT. Some have suggested that his long list of skills, combined with his legendary reputation, is just the medicine that NXT need on its roster. After looking back on his long career and departure from wrestling, fans are excited for the return of "The Master of the Gore."

The 39-year-old Terrance "Terry" Gerin is better known by his ring name "Rhino." Originally, he trained as a wrestler at the Can-Am Wrestling School in Windsor, Ontario.

Over the years, his career has spanned across many different circuits, including Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and, of course, everyone's beloved World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

True, Gerin's stint was short lived, and many fans were left dissatisfied. However, according to a report by Cage Side Seats, Rhino's return to the WWE has finally come:

"Former ECW, WWE, ROH and TNA wrestler Rhino showed up at the NXT tapings on February 12, 2015...in Florida. As out of nowhere Rhino/Rhyno's return to WWE is, and to Developmental instead of as a surprise Royal Rumble entrant or something, makes a lot of sense. The master of the Gore is someone with a lot of experience in a variety of styles that can help the Developmental roster adapt to the WWE one."

For some, Rhino may not be at the top of your list. However, according to this report by IMDB, that fact is subject to change:

"In 1999, Gerin wrestled under the name "Rhino" when he won the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) World Heavyweight Championship in 1999 and became a star. He thanked Paul Heyman, the former owner of ECW, for making him a star. When ECW was starting to go out of business, Rhino made his WWF/E debut at WrestleMania 17 under slightly different name from his old name: Rhyno.
[Later he,] released from the WWE with his good friend Matt Hardy."
