Oakland Raiders Lineman Donald Penn Involved in ROBBERY and Break In `

The Oakland Raiders are not known for championship victories or long successful seasons, and many have suggested the team should be in rebuild mode in order to rise out of the mediocrity. In recent news, one of the teams offensive lineman, Donald Penn, was involved in a potentially life threatening break in at his Los Angeles home. This is the first news fans have heard about the Raiders in quite a while, seeing as even the team's own players have admitted that they "suck".

Before his time as a professional, Donald Penn played college ball for the University of Utah. He didn't stand out very much during his time there, and, in turn, he became an undrafted free agent in 2006.

That very same year, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings, and a very short time later, he was traded to Tampa Bay.

Now, as most of you know, he represents the Oakland Raiders. Unfortunately, according to TMZ Sports, the lineman was recently involved in a scary situation:

"A frightening moment for Oakland Raiders lineman Donald Penn -- who fought off a home intruder who kicked in his front door and threatened his family. According to court docs Penn -- who's 6'4", 340 lbs. -- was at his L.A. home with his wife and kids when a large man hopped over his security gate, busted in his front door and began going crazy inside the home. That's when Penn physically restraining the man (who's 6'1", 220 lbs.)...until cops showed up. Penn eventually filed for a restraining order against the guy..."

Raiders fans are glad to hear any little shred of news concerning their middle-of-the-pack team. In fact, one of the team's better players, Charles Woodson, has nothing good to say about his team:

"Following a 30-14 demolition at the hands of the Houston Texans, which saw the Raiders' offense turn the ball over four times and the defense get bowled over by Arian Foster, Woodson was in no mood to mince words. 'We suck,' Charles Woodson said, 'That's as blunt as I can put it. For whatever reason, defensively we just won't stop people, especially early in games..."
