Steven Tyler gave an incredible interview to Howard Stern, last Wednesday. In it, he admitted to spending over $3 million dollars on cocaine and cheating on his ex-girlfriend, Erin Brady.
Back in 2012, Brady appeared with Tyler on The Howard Stern Show. The couple joked about their relationship, but Tyler seemed sincere when he told Stern " I ain't never gonna cheat on this one."
This time when he showed up at the SiriusXM studios, he came alone...well sort of. Brady was absent but he did have a huge entourage.
Turns out, one thing Steven Tyler is awesome at, is cheating on women. He's almost as good at that as he is at doing cocaine. The legendary Aerosmith singer admitted to putting away pounds of the stuff.
Sure, Bolivian Marching Powder is a crazy way to spend a decade, but it does have its downside--the most apparent being cost.
Tyler estimates that during the 1970s he spent over $3 million on the white stuff.
Stern and Tyler were able to commiserate over being TV Judges. Tyler, up until recently, was making major dough on 'American Idol.' But, he lost that job when the ratings plummeted...in fact, they all did.
In one of the most revealing moments of the interview, Stern got Tyler to open up about some of his greatest hits. Direct from HowardStern.com:
"Janie's Got a Gun - Howard relayed a story from Steven's biography that one day he realized why men sometimes become sexually attracted to their daughters and get drunk and abuse them. There is a distinctive dinging sound in Tom Hamilton's bass playing that the band used to make fun of him for. Steven left the ding in this song and shared the songwriting credit with him."
