It's official. His marriage to Mariah Carey wasn't just a one-off; 34-year-old Nick Cannon clearly has a thing for older women. According to the latest gossip news updates, things are already going so well between the America's Got Talent host and his new girlfriend, Nicole Murphy, that he is already thinking about a spring engagement. Word has it that the "Hero" singer is absolutely furious that her husband is publicly dating Michael Strahan's former fiancé and has determined to use their upcoming battle in divorce court to break up the happy couple.
Hopefully, Amber Rose will be able to rest a little easier knowing that the rumors that she is secretly dating Mariah Carey's man, Nick Cannon, should subside now that the Wild n' Out host was spotted with Eddie Murphy's sexy ex-wife on his arm on Valentine's Day.
A source close to Mimi claims in the March 9, issue of Life & Style that the news came as quite a shock to Mariah who was still holding out hope that Cannon would come to his senses and come home:
"Typical semi-delusional Mariah -- she hate being alone and single.
"Now there is evidence that Nick has moved on and it hurts deeply.
"Worst of all, Nick has told friends that he could see himself proposing to [Nicole] someday."
A friend of Carey's told In Touch Weekly that Mariah was even more upset that she was reading the news in the tabloids, instead of hearing about it quietly form Nick:
"She thought it was low of him to parade her around on Valentine's Day...especially since they had an agreement to keep their post-split dates out of the public eye to protect their kids."
According to the spy, Carey is absolutely pissed at how Nick is choosing to go about this public romance and has half a mind to try and use their ugly divorce court battle to drive his new girlfriend away:
"She's thinking of dragging the divorce out to make him miserable.
"She might even contact Nicole to warn her about his wandering eye."
Now honestly...who would have thought that Nick Cannon was really going to go out there and find someone in Hollywood even older than Mariah Carey to start dating?
