Sandra Bullock Dating Mad TV Michael McDonald after ‘Gravity’ Boyfriend George Clooney Draws Attention to Rape in Sudan? [NEWS]

After an embarrassing divorce from ex-husband Jesse James and a reportedly not-so-serious relationship with Captain America Chris Evans, Sandra Bullock is said to be seriously dating someone her own age once again. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Blindside mom has a new boyfriend in old friend and longtime Mad TV star, Michael McDonald. While Sandy is said to be working on her love connection with Michael, her Gravity co-star, George Clooney is selflessly trying to bring attention to the horrors still raging in Darfur.

By all accounts Sandra Bullock had a bit a trouble trusting men after her ex, Jesse James, turned out to be making a mockery of their wedding vows, but now the Speed star is said to be back in the saddle again-- dating longtime friend turned lover Michael McDonald.

A source close to Sandy explains in the March 9, issue of Star Magazine that the romance seemed to take the Oscar winning actress by surprise but the rest of her friends kind of saw the whole thing coming for a while now:

"Sandy was surprised, but you could see it coming.

"Michael and Sandra have been best friends for years, but rumor has it that things have turned a corner lately."

According to the spy, Bullock may have found herself a new man, but she isn't even close to start thinking about settling down again right now:

"It's still early ...Sandra is very happy with Michael, but she is still nervous about what's going to happen in the future.

"She really values him as a friend, and she doesn't want to lose that by getting too close too soon."

Having already found the love of his life, however, Sandra Bullock other male bestie, George Clooney, is spending his time focusing on bringing attention to the atrocities being committed in Dafur by writing a New York Times op-ed with activist-author John Prendergast and Sudan policy analyst Akshaya Kumar.

In the document, Clooney and his co-authors point out that though public perception of the situation in the region may have changed in the minds of the West, the reality of the horrors still being committed there absolutely has not (via NY Daily News):

"Just last week, the regime reportedly convinced the peacekeeping mission to pull out of areas it says are stable, hoping no one takes a closer look...as a result, mass atrocities continue to occur in Darfur with no external witness.

"After collecting more than 130 eyewitness and survivor testimonies over the phone, (Human Rights Watch) researchers concluded that at least 221 women had been raped by soldiers of the Sudanese Army over a 36-hour period last October."

Let's hope that Sandra and Michael lock this thing down soon, so they too can join Glooney in bringing attention to the plight of the people in Sudan.
