Café Carlyle Spring Season Includes Lena Hall, Alan Cumming, Megan Hilty, Judy Collins and John Pizzarelli with Daniel Jobim

Café Carlyle has announced the lineup for their Spring 2015 season. Acts included the venue debut of Alan Cumming and Lena Hall as well as the return of Megan Hilty, Judy Collins and John Pizzarelli with Daniel Jobim.

Hall will make her debut at Café Carlyle after coming of her starring role as Yitzhak in the hit Tony-winning Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She has also starred in many award-winning musicals including Kinky Boots, Tarzan, 42nd Street and Cats. When she is not on stage, she tours around the country with her band, The Deadening. Hall will perform at the Carlyle in a two week engagement, April 7–18.

Pillzarelli returns to Café Carlyle following a sold-out, critically acclaimed show with his wife, Jessica Molaskey. His performance will include a new version of Strictly Bossa Nova featuring Brazilian sing-songwriter and pianist, Jobim.

Legendary singer-songwriter Collins has captivated audiences for over 50 years, landing her a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Her two week solo engagement will be from May 5–16.

Hilty has made a name for herself in the Broadway circuit as Glinda in Wicked. She will return to the Café May 19–30 with a new show, Songs For My Daughter, where she’ll perform the classics that shaped her childhood that she’ll pass on to her recently-born daughter.

Cummings is a known name around the world. He has played the iconic, Tony-Award winning role as the Emcee in Cabaret on Broadway, which is soon to be completed. He is also know for his television and film work, playing the role of Eli Gold on the hit CBS drama The Good Wife for six season. His memoir, Not My Father’s Son, made the New York Times bestseller list. Now, he will be making his Café Carlyle debut in Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, bringing along his Emmy-winning musical director Lance Horne and cellist Eleanor Norton. His two week engagement runs June 2–13.

Throughout the season, Woody Allen will continue to perform Monday nights with the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band.
