Kate Gosselin Talks Haters After Abuse Claims, Ex Husband Jon Has Epic DJ Fail [UPDATE]

Despite recently being accused of child abuse, Kate Gosselin thought her time would best be spent addressing her increasing amount of haters. Of course, this could be better than how ex-husband Jon Gosselin has been spending his time. The former reality star is now a celebrity DJ. The only problem is that just one person came to his show.

When it comes to haters, Kate Gosselin is no stranger. Ever since her first reality show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, the mom of many has been attacked by the public.

And, once again, Kate Gosselin has decided to strike out against her numerous (and vocal) critics. In a video Kate recorded, Gosselin tells viewers that when she isn't ignoring critics, she actually pities them (via Radar Online):

"To a degree, I try not to let it get to me. I ignore a lot of it because I'm busy... To this handful of people who decided to devote their lives to hating me: I feel bad for them...I mean, what a sorry, sad life to try to take down another individual -- like, do you really think you have an effect on my life? You don't."

A handful of people is a radical understatement, however, when it comes to fans of her husband's new career, "handful" is a radical overstatement.

Nowhere was that more evident than at the former reality star's recent DJing gig. On Saturday, Jon showed up for one of his first celebrity DJ gigs.

The problem? TMZ tells readers that only one person was dancing to his music:

"...Jon made a guest appearance as a DJ...The good news...the one person who got up and danced really liked it...we spotted 2 others in the background at Brewster's Bar and Grill inside Laurel Lanes, where Jon put on a 5-hour set filled with every type of genre..."

What do you think about the latest reports? Is Kate crazy for thinking she only has a handful of detractors? Should Jon give up being a DJ?
