The upcoming Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight has everyone talking. Everyone from Ronda Rousey to 50 Cent have made their opinions of the fight clear. In recent news, 50 admitted to placing a massive bet of $1.6 million on Floyd. It seems that Mayweather and 50 have made amends, because it wasn't too long ago that they were assaulting each other on social media.
Floyd is easily the most decorated fighter to ever step foot in a boxing ring. Not only is he a champion in many different weight classes, he is also a champ in many different divisions of boxing in general.
Pacquiao, however, is not someone who can just be ignored. True, he is an amazing fighter, but he has also proven that he is talented in many other ways. He is a politician, ex-basketball player and singer.
Needless to say, their upcoming fight is one of the most anticipated bouts in the history of boxing. According to Christian Post, the fight has drawn some very big bets:
"Entrepreneur investor, actor and rapper, 50 Cent says he is placing a bet of $1.6 million on undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to beat Filipino eight-division champ, Manny Pacquiao during their May 2 match at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. 'Champ 'gon smoke em... it's gonna look like it was pumped up for no reason,' 50 Cent told the Breakfast Club at Power 105.1. 'He focused right now.'"
Either Mayweather and 50 were able to kiss and make up, or Floyd is such a dominant fighter that past arguments don't matter.
According to TMZ Sports, 50 and Mayweather's past beef was a misunderstanding:
"50 Cent has a message for Floyd Mayweather -- YOU SHOULD HATE NELLY'S GUTS...claiming the rapper banged TWO of Floyd's chicks...Truth is ...Floyd did address certain rappers he's beefing with during an interview with MLive.com -- but didn't mention 50 by name. [Explicitly saying,] 'I'm like what he say f**k me for? Nelly f**ked your first baby mama Melissa. Then took your f**ing fiance. [You should] say f**k that n**ga!'"
