Kim Kardashian dominated the news cycle when she was pregnant, even when it came to naming her baby North West. Now, Kim seems to be taking a step back from the spotlight. Rumors suggest she turned down a million dollar offer for her child to appear on the cover of a magazine. Is it Kanye, following his release of Yeezus, that is responsible for this change of heart?
Probably.
Prior to Kim’s June 15 delivery, she was splashed across the page of every rag mag in existence. Now, two weeks after the birth of her first child, the celebrity seems to have backed off her usually over-social networking.
That includes a reported offer of $3 million dollars from an Australian tabloid. Kardashian and West turned down the potentially lucrative deal, for what they feel is the best interest of the child.
The queen of...um, we’re not exactly sure, may be following Kanye’s orders. The 36-year-old rapper does not want to exploit the child in any way, as a source tells Us Weekly:
"Kanye's been adamant about not having the baby on the show. He was serious when he said North isn't America's baby, so he may not do anything."
Kim, who has remained (publicly) silent since the birth, recently broke her gag order. The celebrity spoke up on her Twitter account last Thursday, when she wished her sister, Khloe, a happy birthday, posting a photo and adding:
"The birthday girl! I love you so much! You’re the most loyal & supportive person on the planet!"
Khloe Kardashian turned 29 on June 27 and was delighted with her much-more-famous took the time to tweet her.
