Lifetime’s hit show Dance Mom is all new with two back to back episode this week, including the choreographer’s cut of last week’s all new episode, “The New Maddie.” Speaking of Maddie, the Sia “Chandelier,” and “Elastic Hearts,” music video star recently opened up about the show faking fights.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all first episode of Dance Moms, titled “The New Maddie? (Choreographer's Cut),” reads:
“Enhanced episode contains additional dance footage. Abby's nemesis, Cathy from the Candy Apples, returns with a surprise choreographer who rattles the ALDC girls' confidence. Meanwhile, Abby praises a newcomer as the next Maddie, which doesn't sit well with the moms.”
The official plot synopsis for this week’s all new episode of Dance Moms, titled “Nia's Last Chance,” reads:
“The ALDC travels to Philadelphia with a risky non-lyrical routine. Nia, Maddie and Kendall feel the pressure with solos, and Nia is singled out with an ultimatum from Abby. Meanwhile, Holly makes friends with two unlikely allies when she tires of being victimized by Abby.”
Recently,Maddie Ziegler spoke to USA Today about how some of the show’s fights are exagerated:
"It's hard to do a reality show when there's so much crying and drama. The producers set it up to make us all yell at each other. You know how I said that moms do fight? The moms have a fake fight sometimes. Afterward they just start talking and laugh about it."
