Time for another update in the life of Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Rob Kardashian, who appears to be engaged in a bit of a family feud. The reality star is reportedly upset with Kardashian momager, Kris Jenner, who decided to skip Rob's birthday, despite the fact that Kardashian has been struggling with depression following his high-profile weight gain.
It's no secret that Rob has grown increasingly distant from his fame-obsessed family.
This was clearly illustrated when Rob not only skipped last year's family vacation, but when he left big sister Kim Kardashian's wedding before the vows were even exchanged.
Further reiterating his withdrawal from the Kardashians, contract details were leaked concerning the family's hit E! reality show, and it appears that Rob will only be participating in a limited fashion.
Now, however, it seems like Rob's family is also distancing themselves from him. According to InTouch, Kris didn't even visit Rob on his birthday, instead opting to spend time with Dakota Johnson:
"This is a new low -- even for Kris Jenner...The newly single momager totally skipped out on celebrating her own son, Rob Kardashian's, 28th birthday on March 17 to vacation with...Dakota Johnson, 25...The 59-year-old reality star third-wheeled while the rising star enjoyed a Mexican getaway with her mom, Melanie Griffith, 57."
This isn't the only report to suggest that Rob Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner have been growing apart.
For years now, we've seen reports suggesting the two have a tumultuous relationship, however, it now seems that Rob and Kris' relationship may be past the point of salvage.
According to Radar Online, Rob is cutting off communication with Kris entirely:
"Rob has long-been the 'estranged' son of the Kardashian family, but after mother Kris missed his birthday celebration, he may have to 'cut ties altogether' according to an insider."
