Breaking News: The New York City Fire Department are busy fighting what is being reported as a 7-alarm explosion in Manhattan's East Village. Multiple, mix business and residential, buildings are reported to be on fire, with at least 30 reported injured. Early reports suspect a gas leak gas leak as the cause of the explosion and collapse, but terrorist attacks have not been ruled out.

MSNBC is reporting on that FDNY has confirmed that two people have taken to the hospital and are in critical condition.
