Bankrupt 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Prison Update: Needs Book Deal to Save Family? [RUMORS]

Rumors are once again flying that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice may be heading towards bankruptcy while serving out her current prison sentence. New reports suggest that Teresa is desperate for a new book deal, so that she can save her family from the poor house.

Somehow things keep getting worse for Teresa Giudice, even as the reality star serves out her 15-month prison sentence.

The latest reports suggest that the Giudice family is rapidly heading towards bankruptcy, months after the family listed their family home on the market.

There could be some hope for the imprisoned housewife, as Teresa has been actively seeking out a book deal from behind bars.

According to one source who spoke with Radar Online, this could be her family's last hope:

"The family is broke and has absolutely no money coming in....and there is nothing in a savings or checking account. Joe still hasn't gotten a job, and isn't even looking...Teresa thinks she can land an advance from a publishing company...She has been keeping a meticulous journal about her experiences in prison."

Luckily, this isn't the only reason that Teresa finds herself in the news.

According to a number of media outlets, Giudice spends most of her time behind bars reading news stories about herself.

The New York Daily News tells readers that Teresa has been saving all of her press clippings:

"Teresa Giudice is using her time in the slammer to reflect on what's really important in life: her press...Confidenti@l is told that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is having contacts on the outside send her magazine and newspaper clippings about her... We're told fans of Giudice have also sent her clippings of stories about herself via snail mail. Clearly, the jailbird hasn't isolated herself from the outside world..."
