It seems that Rande Gerber's supermodel wife, Cindy Crawford, isn't going to be completely outdone by George Clooney's new bride, Amal Alamuddin, even if the London Lawyer is more than a dozen-years her junior. According to the latest gossip news update, the Fair Game actress is determined to beat the human rights activist to the punch by having another baby before Amal has her first. Of course the 49-year-old Instagram beauty won't be getting pregnant herself; word has it that she and her Casamigos hubby already have several surrogates all lined up.
At a hair shy of 50, Cindy Crawford might be a bit old to be having her own baby, but thanks to the marvels of modern science the former supermodel is said to be looking into mid-life procreation despite nature's intentions.
A source supposedly close to Crawford claims in the April 6, issue of the National Enquirer that Cindy is already sold on the whole idea of having just one more kid:
"A lot of their friends are having kids...[and] they have been talking to friends who have been through the [surrogacy] process, and have a couple of suitable women in mind.
"Cindy has already been planning the nursery and checking out aby clothes.
"She can't believe she's going to be a new mom again after all these years!"
While the most cynical among us might wonder if this rush to have another baby so late in life isn't just Cindy's way of one up-ing George Clooney's new wife, Amal Alamuddin, who Crawford is said to be at odds with, Rande Gerber has been telling anyone that will listen that his and Clooney's better halves are fast becoming the best of friends (via Daily Mail):
"They are very compatible: both strong, intelligent, committed women."

As hard as it may be to believe, Cindy may be turning to surrogacy because she doesn't want a baby to ruin her over-40 hard body.
Despite the rumors surfacing that Crawford's physic was a product of photoshop after a re-touched Marie Claire cover hit the web, Gerber silenced all doubters that Cindy was chiseled from anything but marble with a poolside Instagram update from mid-February:
"She got flowers and I got her. Happy Valentine's Day."
That's right, you go girl. Why let Amal always hog the spotlight.
