There's good news for Real Housewives of Atlanta queen bee, NeNe Leakes. While the Glee guest star has had some trouble as of late making it through a full day of shooting without running away or hiding for an hour, she may not have to worry about it for much longer. According to the latest gossip news updates, Leakes is getting a brand new spin-off TV show with former cast member Kim Zolciak. The new Bravo series, The Road to Riches, will follow the frenemies on an epic American road trip. Maybe this is something Cinderella will actually be ableto see through to the end, unlike the 2015 Season 7 reunion which reportedly saw Leakes leaves after finally being confronted by the same group therapist she walked out on several weeks back.
While NeNe Leakes openly contemplates leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta every year at this time, it seems like Season 7 has finally gotten to the reality TV diva like never before.
Not only was NeNe not able to sit through the very group therapy session she suggested on the show this season, OK! Magazine reports that Leakes tried to pull the same stunt when the same therapist showed up at the reunion -- storming out of the studio before producers could convince the skittish actress to return to her seat:
"When she stepped out, she was gone for about an hour. It was typical housewife dramatics."
Luckily for NeNe, she is going to finally get a chance to shot another reality TV show without the rest of the Atlanta ladies that she has grown to despise and distrust.
Leakes will be co-staring in the new Bravo series, The Road to Riches, with former Atlanta co-star and onetime bane of his existence, Kim Zolciak.
According to Bravo's statement the series will follow the pair as they fight and frolic their way back to the mean street of L.A. (via People):
"The road to L.A. may be paved with good intentions, but that doesn't mean they won't occasionally drive each other crazy."
The cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta better be careful not to really drive NeNe Leakes away from their cash cow.
