'Toxic' Britney Spears Writes New Song with ‘Booty’ Iggy Azalea after Secret Rehab Stay? [GOSSIP]

Although Britney Spears has seemingly kept her personal issues together since her father stepped in as her legal conservator following the 2007 meltdown that shocked fans and California courts alike, things may not be entirely as they appear of the surface. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Las Vegas staple recently completed a secret stint in rehab following supposed abuse of a prescription drug meant to manage her ADHD. Some folks claim that Brit never really thought she needed any help and is absolutely tired of Jamie Spears making all her decisions for her. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea insists that the time she spent working with the "Toxic" singer on their new collaboration was anything but problematic. The "Booty" collaborator claims she even wanted the song for herself but let Britney have it instead since her new album is almost ready.

With dad, Jamie Spears, and her handlers keeping a close eye on her these days it would be hard for Britney Spears to binge on anything other than television, but a source close to the 33-year-old single mom claims in the April 6, issue of Star that somehow her dependency on one prescription medication very subtly spun out of control:

"Her dad forced her into rehab because she was overdosing on a drug called Vyvanse.

"She said she'd initially been prescribed it for ADHD but that she's severely upped the dosage."

When Iggy Azalea recently recalled working with Britney to MTV NEWS, however, she described the former Disney star as the epitome of kindness and a real pleasure as a writing partner (via People):

"She's super nice.

"She came to my house and had lunch and I didn't know what to expect, and we actually really got along.

"I've been texting her, annoying her with all my ideas for the video and she's been a really good sport about it, so I'm really excited."

According to Jennifer Lopez iconic "Booty" collaborator, the session went so smoothly that she actually hoped that the track would eventually make its way on to her next album instead of Britney's:

"I rewrote parts of it and it became my song, and I tried to make it all mine and keep it.

"Then she said, 'No, no, I am going to take it, my album is ready.'

"And so I swung it back her way because she's Britney Spears, you have to do that. She gets whatever she wants."

Oh yeah...tell that to Jamie Spears.
