This Sunday’s all new episode of ABC’s Once Upon A Time is all about Cruella, Cruella De Vil. That is right, we get to learn all about the secret origins of Dalmatian coated Queen of Darkness, wonderfully played by Victoria Smurfit.
The official plot synopsis for this Sunday night’s episode of Once Upon A Time, cleverly titled ““Sympathy for the De Vil,” reads:
“A young Cruella is confined to an attic by her mom, who uses Dalmatians to frighten her. Meanwhile, in present-day Storybrooke, Regina gains the upper hand with Gold and prepares to save Robin, but her attention shifts when Cruella abducts Henry.”
Recently, Victoria Smurfit shed a few details about Cruella, telling Entertainment Weekly:
“She has a terrible mother who is a renowned dog trainer. The mother is pivotal in her life and her story, as is the Author. You’ll see that play out, and what the Author has that he holds over her in a sort of very threatening way. The Author might be somebody that Regina is looking for, but he’s most certainly somebody that Cruella has been looking to find, and that has been part of her journey, which she’s never told anybody else. She’s going to rise from the ashes with her terrible dog breath and her coat, and you’ll find out exactly where she’s come from, where she’s going and her plans.”
