Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes Post Baby Update: Soundtracks, Body Doubles

Time for another update in the lives of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, following the birth of their first baby Esmeralda. Ryan Gosling finally earned some praise for his directorial debut, Lost River. Unfortunately, it was for the soundtrack and the film, itself. Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that even Eva Mendes' body double is capable of landing a Hollywood hunk.

Ryan Gosling isn't someone who is likely accustomed to failing. After all, the heartthrob is one of Hollywood's most bankable actors and an internationally loved meme star.

There is at least one hiccup, however, on his otherwise tarnish-free career -- Lost River.

Pitchfork tells readers that the movie was universally bashed, but the soundtrack, which received a 7/10 from the music site, was somewhat bearable:

"Lost River, a film directed by actor Ryan Gosling, was ritually savaged at its Cannes Film Festival premiere and barely recovered on its official release. Reviews were almost comically awful. It could generously be described as a striking visual work that never really gels...Cliff Martinez technically handed the composer duties for Drive, but on the Lost River OST, Jewel gets his first real score, writing a soundtrack that runs excess of 90 minutes."

Of course, Ryan's soundtrack isn't the only reason that he and Eva Mendes are in the news this week.

It was recently revealed that Eva Mendes, who is looking fabulous post-baby bump, isn't the only one capable of landing a hunky actor.

Just Jared tells readers that Eva's stunt double actually dated both Tyrese and Paul Walker:

"'Tyrese pursued me first and then Paul [Walker] pursued me and obviously I wasn't tied down to anyone so I took the opportunity to go out on a date,' stunt double Cindy Leon told OK Magazine...Cindy says the relationships were 'short and sweet' and that the two guys didn't know they both dated her at first."

What do you think about the latest reports? Do you think Lost River was unfairly judged? Is Cindy Leon telling the truth?
