While one half of Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta cast is perpetually insisting that the other is out to get them or vice versa, Kandi Burruss has seemingly had enough. According to the latest gossip news recap, Todd Tucker's reality TV wife accuses both NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks of trying to play the victim in order to get sympathy from the show's home audience. Brandi reportedly calls out both the ladies' lies at the Season 7 reunion -- asking why she's supposed to have to suffer for the sake of their popularity.
Glee actress NeNe Leakes and her new bestie, Phaedra Parks, can try to spin the 2015 Real Housewives of Atlanta narrative all they like, but Kandi Burruss is having none of it.
Burruss told E! News that Phaedra's assertion that she hadn't been there to support her friend for months at a time when she was recently dealing with her husband's legal troubles is absolutely laughable:
"I could name you every event, trips we took, all last year up until the season started taping, and when the season started taping, we were together every couple days.
"So, at what point did you and I go months without talking?
"Are you throwing me under the bus for getting more sympathy votes? What is going on here?!"
Todd Tucker's wife also called out NeNe Leakes for being two-faced at the reunion and then told People in a follow up interview that she's tired of the Atlanta queen bee parading around Bravo like a wolf in sheep's clothing:
"NeNe made herself the victim this year, like, 'Oh, Kandi is hating on me.'
"We've never really had a great relationship until her and Cynthia [Bailey] stopped being friends, then it was cool to be okay with me and Phaedra [Parks].
"So, for me, it's like, she's never really been our friend, so why are you talking about me to her?"
Despite Kandi's reunion brow beating it doesn't seem like NeNe Leakes is going to be changing her way in Season 8.
If anything, NeNe sounds as full of herself as ever if not more so in her recent blog -- declaring that we haven't seen the last of her like some over the top Batman villain (via RadarOnline):
"Everything I have today is because I worked my ass off for it!
"I earned it! I will NOT break so quench yo[sic] thirst because I AM STILL STANDING STRONG!
"THE ALWAYS FABULOUS NENE LEAKES!"
Let's just hope that Dr. Jeff has the power to commit people if it should come to that in 2016.
