Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood truly are amazing talents. In an inspiring move, Brooks walked away from superstardom in 2001, retiring to raise his children. Now, that his youngest girl is all grown up, Garth Brooks is back on tour, with an all new album, Man Against Machine. Now Trisha Yearwood is opening up about touring with husband after taking so many years off.
Trisha Yearwood recently spoke to People about touring with her husband, Garth Brooks, after years of retirement:
"It's awesome. You know, we are together. We got married 10 years ago, and we said we didn't want to be together to be apart, and so I feel really lucky 'cause I get to tour the world with the love of my life and my best friend. We're havin' a good time."
However, just because Garth and Trisha are back in the saddle, doesn’t mean that they are not still focused on the family:
"We really just try to be together. Right now, with Garth and I being on the road and our girls are all in college and grown, so it's harder to get everybody together, so we just cherish those times.We had a chance to be with them at Easter, so I'm hoping for Mother's Day, but we'll see what happens."
