Yesterday, The Huffington Post reported that Lady Gaga may have released a new single, "Burqa." If this is true, it will mark the first music preview from her upcoming album, ARTPOP We've got the lyrics to help you decide.
After speculating on whether or not the new jam actually belonged to the pop princess, Huff Po felt confident enough to issue a retraction, telling its readers:
"UPDATE: As expected (this is why we told you to pile on some salt), it turns out the track is not a Gaga tune. Sources with knowledge of the matter have denied that the snippet is a new Gaga song to The Huffington Post. The original article continues below."
It's not like the story was that big of a stretch to begin with. After all, Gaga has sung about (and wore) burkas before.
The catchy single was released on YouTube and has made quite the sensation. Below are the lyrics:
