Despite the fact that BET late night talk show host, Wendy Williams, insists she is a friend to the LBGTQ community, she put Keep Up with the Kardashians dad, Bruce Jenner, on blast for announcing that he is in fact a transgender woman yesterday evening. According to the latest gossip news updates, the wig wearing gossip queen thinks the Olympic gold medalist should have worked through his gender identity issue long before getting married and having all those kids. Wendy also slammed Kim Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner as well -- insisting the Kendall and Kylie Kendall have practically had to parent themselves since their parents' high profile divorce.
Right now, as the entirety of the Hollywood community -- regardless of sexual orientation -- is either falling over themselves to support Bruce Jenner or else remaining dead silent on the matter, Wendy Williams seems to have no problem publicly condemning the Keeping Up with the Kardashians' reality TV star.
Williams, who lamented even having to cover the topic at all, insisted outright that Bruce Jenner was a horrible person and a worse father for deciding to finally live his truth at age 65, after managing to father children into his 40s (via Inquisitr):
"If this wasn't an obligation due to my career, I wouldn't watch. I feel duped by Bruce... I don't feel duped because he's turning into a woman.
"I feel duped because he's the same fame whore as the rest of the family...Bruce has bigger fish to fry than turning into Belinda.
"He should have thought about [transitioning] before he had all the kids...Belinda, shame on you!"
According to Wendy, Bruce isn't the only one that is letting the kids down; Williams also took Kris Jenner to task in the May 4, issue of Life & Style for not being there as mother for her daughters:
"It's heartbreaking that Kylie Jenner revealed in an interview that her big sis, Khloe Kardashian, plays the role of mom more than her own mother, Kris.
"If I were Kris Jenner, I would seriously reexamine my role as a mom.
"Kris, put the 'mom' back into 'momager'!"
Even more surprising than calling out the Jenner's bizarre marriage, was Wendy's recently telling Forbes that she doesn't really think getting married is a good idea at all until you are solidly and successfully into your 30s:
"My suggestion to women is always...use your entire 20s to work your behind off in your career.
"'Cause we're the ones that lose in marriage. Not men."
Well...Wendy Williams certainly seems to have a pretty high opinion of herself to have such a close minded view on LGBTQ gender issues.
